Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) - Population Covered: 1 Cr

SV Projects successfully executed the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC), a comprehensive initiative aimed at collecting detailed demographic, socio-economic, and caste-related data. This large-scale project was designed to provide a thorough understanding of the population’s socio-economic conditions and caste distribution, aiding in targeted policy-making and efficient resource allocation. The census covered regions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, including a detailed enumeration in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.

Our Role:

  • Deployment of Skilled Manpower: Engaged personnel skilled in IT administration and field data collection to ensure accurate and efficient data gathering.
  • Activation of IT Infrastructure: Established and maintained IT infrastructure at Charge Centres to support seamless data collection, processing, and storage.

Specific Work:

  • Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh: Involved in the enumeration of key persons and data collection as part of the SECC initiative. This work was supported by official Census 2011 details released by the Directorate of Census Operations in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Collaboration with Technosoft Solutions: The project was executed in partnership with Technosoft Solutions, who played a key role in the successful delivery of the SECC.

Key Achievements:

    • Extensive Coverage: Effectively managed the collection of data for a population of 1 crore across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
    • Efficient Data Collection: Utilized advanced IT infrastructure and skilled manpower to ensure high standards of data accuracy and completeness.
    • Timely Execution: Completed field data collection and handed off to the National Informatics Centre (NIC) in a timely manner, supporting efficient data processing and analysis.
